Internship 4 Seminar (PSOM 2360)

Description: This seminar meets concurrently with Internship 4. Its purpose is to extend and validate the learning you gain at a partnering accredited sleep laboratory. You will discuss and reflect on your internship experiences, report case studies, and assess your progress. Additionally, you will prepare a professional resume and practice for the registration exam. Must be taken Pass/Fail.

1. 1. Discuss case studies in clinical sleep medicine
2. 2. Reflect on the practice of safe and ethical patient care
3. 3. Discuss the role of the Sleep Technologist within a team of sleep specialists
4. 4. Develop a professional resume and cover letter
5. 5. Prepare for the national registry exam

Prerequisites: 

PSOM 1650, PSOM 1660.


Co-requisites: 

PSOM 2000, PSOM 2150, PSOM 2160, PSOM 2250, PSOM 2260 and PSOM 2350.
