Description:
This course will introduce the student to pattern development and construction techniques used for knitwear and specialty fabrics. Must be taken A-F.

2. Needle and Thread types
3. Edge finishes
4. Pattern development
5. Knit garment
Learning Outcomes:
1. Identify knit fabric characteristics
2. Identify needle and thread types
3. Perform seam finish, ribbing, and binding samples.
4. Apply elastic to knit garment
5. Create pattern adjustments for knit garment
6. Construct final knit garment
