Description: This course will provide an introduction to fashion illustration using a variety of traditional methods and computer-based Vector Illustration basic applications. You will learn about technical (flats) and stylized drawing. Must be taken A-F.

2. Figure Posing and Perspective
3. Light-Source and Shading
4. Fabric Rendering
5. Vector Based Illustrator Basics
6. Technical Drawing (Flats)

Learning Outcomes:
1. Develop fashion sketches
2. Understand garment styles
3. Identify and use Adobe Illustrator tools
4. Apply Adobe Illustrator advanced techniques to sketches
5. Create series of technical flats
6. Design series of fashion images

Prerequisites:  Placement into MATH 0070
Co-requisites:  APRL 1000, APRL 1100, and APRL 1360
