Description: This course is a continuation of MATH 0070: Introductory Algebra. Course content includes: sets and interval notation; functions and relations; systems of linear equations; compound inequalities; absolute value equations and inequalities; more polynomial factoring; rational expressions, functions, and equations; variation word problems; more literal equations; radicals, radical functions, and rational exponents; complex numbers; graphing quadratic functions; quadratic and rational inequalities; composition of functions; inverse functions; logarithmic and exponential functions and equations; and graphing circles.

1. 1. Work with interval, inequality, graphical, and functional notation
2. 2. Solve compound, absolute value, polynomial inequalities; and linear, radical, rational, literal, exponential, and logarithmic equation
3. 3. Simplify and perform operations on polynomials, rational expressions, and simplify expressions with rational exponents
4. 4. Perform operations with complex numbers
5. 5. Solve systems of linear equations
6. 6. Manipulate and graph linear, polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions

Prerequisites: 

Placement score into MATH 0080 or completion of MATH 0070 or MATH 0077.
