Description:
This course provides you with the necessary technical knowledge and mechanical skills needed to remove, check, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or service various types of aircraft propellers. This course must be taken A-F.
Topical Outline:
1. Inspect and repair propeller
2. Inspect propeller system components
3. Propeller pitch change mechanisms and synchro systems
Learning Outcomes:
1. Correctly demonstrate blade tracking procedure.
2. Inspect, check, service, troubleshoot and repair propellers.
3. Inspect, check, service, troubleshoot and repair propeller control systems.
4. Remove and replace propellers.
