Description:
This course is an introduction to medical coding including the International Classification of Diseases, tenth edition, Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT). You will learn ICD-10-CM, the diagnostic coding system, and the CPT, procedural coding system, that you will use to submit medical claims. You will also learn rules and conventions as well as guidelines for diagnostic and procedure coding.
