Description:
This course builds on skills learned in
WELD 1500. You will utilize computer-controlled equipment to fabricate parts to blueprint specifications. You will also learn plasma cutting, press brake programming and robotic welding. Must be taken A-F.
Topical Outline:
1. Review automated equipment safety
2. CNC plasma programming and part fabrication
3. CNC press brake tooling selection, setup, programming and part fabrication
4. Robotic programming and welding
5. Applications in fabrication with automated manufacturing equipment

1. Understand safety related to the use of automated manufacturing equipment
