Description: This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to operate automated shop equipment. You will learn basic CNC (computer numerical control) programming associated with the use of a press brake, automated burning table and robotic arm (for automated welding).

1. Safe use of automated manufacturing equipment
2. Theory and applications for computer-controlled plasma cutting
3. Theory and application for computer-controlled press brake operations
4. Theory and applications for robotic welding systems

1. Understand hazards associated with the use of automated manufacturing equipment
2. Understand the hazards associated with plasma arc cutting equipment
3. Comprehend programming of a computer controlled cutting system and fabricate projects to print specifications
