Description:
This course expands on the skills and techniques learned in Lighting 1. You will learn the setup, operation, and utilization of studio strobe and continuous lighting equipment and accessories. You will learn creative and experimental use of lighting devices and techniques in the studio and on location.
Topical Outline:
1. Identification and operation of various lighting systems.
2. Controlling light using modifying devices & exposure control
3. Mixed lighting scenarios for still & motion setups
4. Develop creative processes in image development
5. Final portfolio presentation methods

1. Articulate studio lighting vocabulary
2. Identify strobe & continuous light modifiers
3. Create photographs & video using creative lighting techniques
4. Critique class assignments to prepare for final portfolio presentation
