Description:
This course covers the theory and maintenance of aircraft interior and exterior environmental systems, including pressurization, air conditioning, heaters, supplemental oxygen systems, ice prevention and rain removal systems. Must be taken A-F.
Topical Outline:
1. Troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of aircraft environmental systems and components
2. Principles of operation and controlling environmental systems
3. Principles of controlling aircraft pressurization
4. Inspection and servicing an aircraft oxygen system
5. Operating principles of various aircraft anti-icing systems
