Description: This course covers aircraft fuel system components, operation, inspection, adjustments and servicing. Must be taken A-F.

Topical Outline:
1. Operating principles of aircraft and powerplant fuel systems
2. Operating principles of fuel system controls, indicators and warning systems aircraft and powerplant
3. Inspection requirements for aircraft fuel systems aircraft and powerplant
4. Maintenance requirements of fuel tank systems

Learning Outcomes:
1. Check fuel system for proper markings
2. Remove, inspect, clean and reinstall a fuel filter
3. Inspect the complete fuel system on an aircraft and check system for proper operation

Prerequisites:  ACMT 1000, ACMT 1100, ACMT 1200, ACMT 1300 and ACMT 1400 or Admission to the Program with Course Equivalencies from another Approved FAR 147 School or Admission to the Program through FAA Approval
