Description: This course covers hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems, system components, system operation and servicing. You will learn the basic principles of hydraulics and how to perform maintenance work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Must be taken A-F.

1. Differences between hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components
2. Acceptable methods for maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems and components
3. Types of aircraft hydraulic power systems
4. Acceptable methods for maintenance and repair of pneumatic systems and components
5. Operating principles of aircraft pneumatic power systems
6. Operating principles of aircraft hydraulic systems

Learning Outcomes:
1. Remove, Inspect and install aircraft hydraulic systems and components
2. Remove, Inspect and install aircraft pneumatic systems and components
3. Inspect, check, service, troubleshoot and repair an aircraft hydraulic system or components
4. Inspect, check, service, troubleshoot and repair an aircraft pneumatic system or component

Prerequisites:  ACMT 1000, ACMT 1100, ACMT 1200, ACMT 1300 and ACMT 1400 or Admission to the Program with Course Equivalencies from another Approved FAR 147 School or Admission to the Program through FAA Approval
