Description: This course introduces the student to user experience (UX) design as it relates to digital artifacts, such as the design of websites for desktop systems and other digital devices. You will learn how to conceive, design and test a digital interface within a user-centered design framework. You will explore a variety of topics including wire-framing, paper- and digital-prototyping and user testing. By the conclusion of the course, you will understand the invaluable role of user experience in the design of digital interfaces from its earliest inception to current and future trends.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Students will conceive, develop, design and test website prototypes for desktop and other devices using user experience (UX) industry-standard software and best practices.
2. Students will understand the past, current and future role of user experience (UX) design in the production of digital artifacts from a user-centered perspective.
