Description:
This course focuses on introducing the Nursing student to the three identified domains of the individual, nursing, and health care. You will learn about concepts within each domain including: evidenced-based practice, ethics, interdisciplinary teams, informatics, communication, managing care, safety, individual-centered care, medication administration, nutrition, assessment, stress/coping, oxygenation, infection and caring interventions. Upon completion, students will be able to provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified in this course. Must be taken A-F.

Admission to the Professional Nursing Program. Placement score into ENGL 1110 or completion of ENGL 0900.
