Description: This course focuses on the assimilation of the concepts within the three domains of the individual, nursing and healthcare. You will learn about concepts within each domain including: fluid/electrolytes, metabolism, perfusion, mobility, stress/coping, grief/loss, violence, health-wellness, caring interventions, managing care, professional behaviors, collaboration, safety, healthcare systems, quality improvement, advocacy, legal issues, policy, healthcare systems, ethics, accountability, and evidence-based practice. Upon completion, you should be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide quality, individualized, entry level nursing care. Must be taken A-F.
