Description: This is a hands-on journalism workshop. After considering traditional news values and the elements of the news story, you may participate in the production of the college's newspaper. You will receive practical instruction in writing news stories and headlines, photography, layout, proofreading, copy editing, and advertising and distribution. Invited professional journalists will share their experience with the class. This class may be taken three times for a total of six credits.
