Description: This course is a basic introduction to the anatomy, physiology, embryology, histology and pathology of the oral cavity. You will focus on the tissues and structures of the oral cavity, and on the primary and permanent dentition.

Prerequisites: 

Acceptance into the Dental Assistant program; placement into READ 0200 or placement into ESOL 0052 or completion of READ 0100 or ESOL 0042 with faculty recommendation into ESOL 0052.
