Description: This course explores women's lives across cultures through an anthropological perspective. You will examine the cultural and social construction of women's roles and experiences in economics, politics and power systems, religions and related social structures. You will also learn about the impact of culture change and globalization on women's lives, and the movements working toward improving women's status and rights.
