Description:
In the Fashion Design Technologies program, you will receive extensive hands-on training in design, manufacturing, alteration and fitting by industry-experienced instructors and gain a sense of personal accomplishment. The program is the only one of its kind in the upper Midwest and will teach you to produce finished, professional garments from pattern to final product.

General Education Courses (15 Credits):
To complete the Apparel A.A.S., students must successfully complete 15 credits of General Education coursework from at least 3 of the 10 MnTC Goal Areas. The Communication Studies course meets MnTC Goal Area 1, while ARTS 1111, ARTS 1114, or ARTS 1115 meet MnTC Goal Area 8.
The Fashion Design Technologies program requires you to earn a grade of “C” (2.0) or higher in all APRL theory and combination theory/lab courses.
