Description:
This course is an introduction to editing software used in the photo/videography industry. You will use a variety of editing software to practice digital workflow techniques for both still photography and video while preparing files for multiple end uses. An emphasis is placed on cross platform applications, e.g. social media, print and web.

1. Still and video digital asset workflow
2. Still and video file formats
3. Still and video asset correction, modification and manipulation
4. Asset output in multiple formats for various applications
Learning Outcomes:
1. Create a professional digital asset workflow
2. Produce stop motion animation and time lapse video
3. Use various still and video editing software
4. Apply color and exposure correction to still and video assets
5. Demonstrate proficiency in creative photo editing
Prerequisites:
Placement into
READ 0200 or
ESOL 0052 or completion of
READ 0100 or
