Description: This course covers world history from 1991 to the present. You will examine the political, economic, and social history of different peoples and places over that period. In the process, you will become familiar with international systems, political structures, and events that have helped to create the world we live in today.

4. The Developing World
5. Changes in the International Order
6. The Recent Past

3. Construct historical arguments using evidence
4. Understand the themes, people, and events important to recent World History

Prerequisites:  Placement into READ 0200 or ESOL 0052 or completion of READ 0100 or ESOL 0042
