Description:
This course covers assemblies that use bearings as a means of rotation. You will learn to diagnose, adjust, and repair all major bearing systems on a bicycle.

1. Headsets and Cartridge Bearings
2. Wheel Hubs and Loose Ball/Caged Bearings
3. Bottom Brackets and Industry Standards
4. Pedals
5. Bearing Presses and Pullers
Learning Outcomes:
1. Apply skills and outside resources to identify, select, and install headset cups and bearings.
2. Choose correct bottom bracket types based on measurements and database of standards.
3. Apply critical observations on conditions and functions of components to rebuild hub bearing systems
4. Press and remove bearings and bearing carriers in various configurations.
5. Mount and dismount common pedal systems.
