Description:
This course covers the basics of how to perform a complete weight and balance of different aircraft. You will also learn how to read blueprints, graphs, charts and symbols. This course must be taken A-F.
Topical Outline:
1. Calculate weight and balance of aircraft
2. Determine the center of gravity
3. Complete calculated weight and balance paperwork
4. Have a basic understanding of how to make sketches
5. Interpret lines and symbols used on aircraft drawings
6. Interpret graphs and charts
Learning Outcomes:
1. Perform weight and balance calculations of an aircraft.
2. Use blueprints to make weight estimations for repairs or modifications to the aircraft.
3. Understand aircraft engineering drawings.
