Description: This course is designed for students who want to deepen their yoga practice. You will practice advanced techniques such as inversions, arm balances, and binds, pranayama, chanting, and meditation. You will explore the four major yogic paths and sankhya philosophy.

Topical Outline:
1. Sankhya philosophy
2. The 4 Yoga Paths (bhakti, jnana, karma, raja)
3. Advanced pranayama techniques
4. Advanced asana's (inversions, arm balances and binding poses)
5. Chanting and meditation practices

Learning Outcomes:
1. Research a yoga pathway (bhakti, karma, jnana, or raja) and identify, implement, and reflect on yogic practices of that pathway to balance one’s health now and gain resiliency for the future.
2. Demonstrate proper performance of physical skills and body mechanics by participating in yogic practices.
3. Analyze personal attitudes and belief systems about their body, mind and spirit as it pertains to the sankhya philosophy.
