Description:
This course provides the background knowledge, functions and manipulative skills in dental materials. You will learn the commonly used dental materials, their purpose, properties, manipulation, placement, care, hazards and storage. Must be taken A-F.

1. Purpose of various dental materials used in dentistry
2. Properties of commonly used dental materials
3. Manipulation and placement of various dental materials
4. Dental material projects to complete
5. Proper care, related hazards and storage of dental materials
