Accounting Internship (ACCT 2252)

Description: This course provides students an opportunity to gain real-world experience while earning college credit(s). The knowledge you have gained in your prior business and accounting course work will be applied at a local organization partner site. In the prior semester, you will need to work with Minneapolis College Career Services Office to secure your internship. You will work jointly with an assigned instructor and the partner contacts to achieve the course objectives. At the end of semester, you will meet with your assigned instructor for final assessment.

2. Interpersonal communication skills
3. Critical Thinking skills

Learning Outcomes:
1. Apply accounting skills to real-world situations
2. Demonstrate professionalism and accountability
3. Apply and practice various communication skills (people, oral, and written)
4. Use critical thinking skills in any situations that may arise
