Visual C#.NET Programming (ITEC 2505)

Description: In this course you will learn about Visual C# .NET, a high-level, object-oriented programming language for use in the Microsoft Windows .NET environment. You will learn to enter code, manipulate windows objects and apply object-oriented tools which enable the building of custom visual applications with a familiar Windows look and feel. You will design, write, test and debug programs using the C# .NET environment. You will also create C# applications integrating Microsoft SQL Server databases. Must be taken A-F.

1. C# user interface design and components
2. C# code and application logic including data structures and object-oriented design
3. C# and SQLServer database integration
4. Program development lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, documentation testing and deployment
5. C# documentation, programmer help and resources
6. C# development environment and developer tools

Learning Outcomes:
1. Create C# code and application logic including using data structures and object-oriented design
2. Create SQLServer databases and integrate these with C# applications
3. Design and create user interfaces for C# applications
4. Use the program development lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, documentation testing and deployment; to develop applications
5. Use C# documentation, be able to find and use programmer help and resources
6. Become proficient in using the Visual Studio development environment and supporting developer tools
