Description:
This course enables you to develop skills needed in the layout and fabrication of metal projects, aiding you in estimating material usage, piece part accuracy and production efficiency.

1. Volume, mass and surface area calculations of geometric shapes
2. Geometric constructions
3. Layout of rectangular and odd shape plates
4. Basic metallurgy

1. Calculate the surface area of various prisms and cylinders
2. Calculate the volume of various prisms and cylinders
3. Perform mass (weight) caculations
4. Construct geometric figures
5. Understand basic metallurgy including mechanical properties of metals
