HVAC and R Controls (HVAC 1115)

Description: This course covers advanced control circuits for commercial and residential heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Diagnostic procedures involving advanced HVAC and R schematics, temperature controls, timing controls, modulating motors, heat pump controls, and other various HVAC and R electrical components will also be covered. Must be taken A-F.

2. Pneumatic controls
3. Refrigeration controls
4. Pressure controls
5. Ventilation controls
6. WI-FI HVAC control systems

Learning Outcomes:
1. Interpret function and operation of all HVACR thermostats
2. Interpret and connect pressure control circuits
3. Interpret pneumatic control circuits
4. Interpret and connect ventilation, refrigeration and Wi-Fi control circuits

Prerequisites:  HVAC 1000, HVAC 1005, HVAC 1020, HVAC 1025, HVAC 1030, and HVAC 1035
