Description:
This course is a survey and analysis of practical applications related to health communication in interpersonal, intercultural, and organizational health care contexts. You will use communication perspectives to examine how health care professionals assist others in preventing, diagnosing, managing and treating illness. You will explore the communication demands of health care and identify communication strategies for health care consumers and providers.
