Description: This class covers hardware, materials, and hand tools used in the construction, repair and maintenance of aircraft, including metal alloys and their heat treatment. Must be taken A-F.

1. Aircraft material terminology and identification
2. Aircraft hardware, terminology and identification
3. Aircraft rigid and flexible tubing fabrication
4. Aircraft non-destructive inspection techniques
5. Precision measurements

Learning Outcomes:
1. Identify and install aircraft safety hardware
2. Fabricate and install aircraft rigid tubing and flexible hoses
3. Perform aviation precision measurements
4. Perform Non-Destructive Technique inspections on aircraft parts

Prerequisites:  Admission to the Aircraft Maintenance Technician Program
