Description: This course covers manual milling and turning theory, safe operating practices and tool selection. You will learn about topics such as cutting tools, vertical mill and lathe nomenclature, machining operations, cutting speeds and feeds, work holding and set-up procedures. You will produce test parts to show your understanding of the subject matter.

Prerequisites: 

MTTC 1000, MTTC 1005 and MTTC 1010.
