Description:
This course covers various drill press operations and tooling, utilizing the radial arm and sensitive drill presses. You will perform such operations as drilling, tapping, counter boring, countersinking and reaming. You will also see and practice use of the horizontal and vertical band-saws and the tools associated. You will also see and practice the proper use of hand tools and lay-out procedures.

Prerequisites:
Placement score into READ 0200 or into ESOL 0052 or completion of READ 0100 or ESOL 0042 with faculty recommendation into ESOL 0052.
