Description:
This course introduces students to the practical duties and responsibilities of a professional photo assistant. You will get hands on experience with many different lighting and camera systems and the grip tools used in studio and location photography. You will also exposed to the expectations and demands of photo assisting through field trips, guest speakers and real life opportunities to assist program staff and advanced students working photographers.

Prerequisites:
Placement score into READ 0200 or ESOL 0052 or completion of READ 0100 or ESOL 0042 with faculty recommendation into ESOL 0052.
