Description: This studio course covers the basics of professional portrait photography. You will explore the ins and outs of people photography as you develop interpersonal communication skills and photographer-to-subject rapport; learn lighting and posing techniques for individual, environmental and group portraits; and examine portrait applications in the professional marketplace and the equipment requirements needed to succeed in the portrait photography industry. Upon completing this course, you will have a portrait portfolio consisting of children, groups, couples, individuals and environmental portraits.
