Description: This course builds on the skills learned in Adobe Photoshop (GRPH 2110) and concentrates on a deeper understanding and a creative use of the software through a variety of advanced techniques. You will demonstrate insights into complex digital image manipulation and adjustments within the context of creating original images.

1. 1. Apply and control pixel blending modes
2. 2. Utilize channels for advanced masking and selecting techniques
3. 3. Achieve a higher level of understanding with regards to and employing layer styles, effects, color, patterns and mapping
4. 4. Apply Photoshop’s actions and automation capabilities

Prerequisites: 

GRPH 2110 or instructor approval; or for PHDI majors only, PHDI 1020 instead of GRPH 1130.
