Multicultural Counseling Skills (COUN 2540)

Description: In this course, you will develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that alcohol- and drug-abuse counselors need in order to work effectively with culturally diverse client populations. You will focus on psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral theories and techniques, as well as on motivational interviewing and family counseling within a multicultural context. Must be taken A-F.
