Description: MCTC offers nursing coursework that provides a pathway that prepares you to take the licensing exam to become a practical and/or a registered nurse. This pathway begins with a Nursing Assistant requirement, which can be met through successsful completion of NAHA 1819: Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide or NAHA 1850: Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide Extended Hour. Successful completion of NAHA 1819 or NAHA 1850 prepares you to take the Nursing Assistant Test Out, which, if passed, places you on the Minnesota Department of Health Nursing Assistant Registry and qualifies you for employment in MN Department of Health-approved long-term care facilities as a Nursing Assistant.
