Description: The web design/animation/interactive media internship is an opportunity for supervised work experience that provides an important practical knowledge as well as a useful link to the job market. You will obtain an internship site that supports your special areas of interest and provides opportunities to interact with professional in their working environment. The internship requires 120 hours of residency in a web or an interactive media department, or organization producing web sites or interactive media for the web, smart phones or other web devices. Other industry related companies may qualify pending approval by the internship coordinator.

1. 1. Applying concepts learned in web design courses in a professional creative working environment with a minimum of 120 hours of work experience during the semester
2. 2. Becoming familiar your special area of interests within the professional design culture and web working environment, to better understand the demands of the creative industry

Prerequisites: 

WEBI 1416, WEBI 1611 or instructor approval
