Description: This course builds a strong foundation in technology concepts, applications and vocabulary for students to work effectively in today's law office. You will develop a hands-on understanding of industry standard legal software programs to include case and office management; trial preparation and graphics; attorney time entry; and legal documents in Word. You will review case studies, legal ethics and electronic case filing. You will learn technical legal terminology. Must be taken A-F.

2. 2. Understand the heightened role of ethics, confidentiality, and document security when utilizing technology
3. 3. Research and make necessary adjustments in using software in discovery and trial practice based on court rules
