Description: This course teaches computer applications as a business productivity tool. Topics will include introduction to Windows operating system, hardware and software, data communications, data security, and the Internet and WorldWide Web. You will use MS Word to create a Word document, MS Access to create a database, MS Excel to create a worksheet with a chart, MS PowerPoint to create a presentation, and MS Outlook email for communicating and networking with Outlook. Must be taken A-F.

Placement score into MATH 0070. Keyboarding skills of at least 25 WPM are strongly recommended.
