Description: This course is specifically designed to provide the unique skills and insights necessary for leadership success. You will focus on the application of managerial skills and the unique problems that impact women's managerial effectiveness. You will also study role conflict, dual-career issues, acceptance, stereotyping, mentoring and networking.

2. 2. Recognize the opportunities and challenges facing women in business
3. 3. Demonstrate an understanding of communication and other gender-based organizational issues
4. 4. Employ constructive solutions to conflict and other disputes in the workplace
5. 5. Illustrate methods for creating climates of inclusiveness in organizations and culture

Prerequisites: 

Placement score into READ 0200 or ESOL 0052 or completion of READ 0100 or ESOL 0042 with faculty recommendation into ESOL 0052.
