Description:
This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary for successful case management for professional addiction counseling. You will learn about the twelve core functions of addiction counseling: screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention, client education, referral, reports and record keeping, and consultation with other professionals. You will also address the cultural, mental health and legal/ethical factors of clinical practice. Must be taken A-F.
