Program Information for Cinema Production
How You Apply
Students are initially admitted to the Cinema Production certificate program which begins each fall semester.
To apply to this program, you must complete two applications:
- Apply online at Minneapolis.edu/admissions

Complete and submit the (downloadable from Cinema Division website) Cinema Division Supplemental Application form
Once admission requirements are met and Cinema Division Supplemental Application has been accepted, applicants will be admitted to the program on a “first come, first qualified” basis. Once the program is full, additional applicants meeting the admission requirements will be placed on a waiting list.
As they are completing the Cinema Production Certificate during their first year, students should meet with their faculty and their advisor/counselor regarding appropriate sequencing of required coursework and to choose a major concentration for their second year.
