Ojibwe 2 (OJIB 1100)

Description:  The course is a continuation of Ojibwe 1. You will further develop communication skills to prepare for further study and application. The vocabulary centers on everyday themes and seasonal life. You will learn the language in the context of culture and real-life situations. You will learn more complex grammatical structures, as well as engage in more reading and writing activities.
Prerequisites:  OJIB 1000

Ojibwe Culture and History (OJIB 1800)

Total Credits:  3   Lecture Credits:  3  
Description:  This course is an introduction to the history and culture of the Ojibwe nation, one of the largest Indigenous nations in Canada and the U.S. You will gain cultural, historical, and sociological knowledge and understanding through field trips, readings, lectures, guest speakers, and media.
Prerequisites:  Placement into READ 0100 or completion of ESOL 0042
